I like the Spinervals Lake Placid DVD in particular as I have gone there to do the ride, and for this reason I also enjoy the CycleFilm recon rides as well.

The Ergvideo DVDs are somewhat more expensive than the ones I have been reviewing, although I have a few by Tackx which are at the same price level. I figure the extra cost reflects the compatibility with the CompuTrainer system. The Pez reviews really put the DVDs to the full test, with power calculations. Although I would review them for my blog if they sent some, I do not use a CompuTrainer myself and it might not really reflect what someone would get for their money.

The CompuTrainer is very impressive but my own feeling is that at some point I have to draw the line. I like using the large television with a DVD or VHS (!) player rather than a laptop screen and I have no software issues to ever deal with. My Kurt Kinetic Road Machine cost me around $320, and another $60 for the little power computer. My training is pretty extensive but it is for my time trials and for my cycling holidays and not for regular road races or crits. As a CompuTrainer retails for around $2000, I feel that this money is better spent on coaching and trips to Europe! Thanks for your comments!Sprocketboyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00002657522696618715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6847712656239809973.post-19297200345229730802009-12-28T19:09:07.999+01:002009-12-28T19:09:07.999+01:00Good morning

Being in Ottawa are you aware there is a small company based in Ottawa, Ergvideo, have you reviewed any of their videos, while they are designed for the Computrainer the DVDs can be ridden on a trainer as well. They have recently released several DVDs of rides in Spain and France (Mt. Ventoux of TDF fame is one of the DVDs, and you could actually practice "the Look" as you near the summit), older ones are in and around Ontario and PQ. Would be interested on your take/comments.
Ergvideo.com another company with phenominal Customer Service.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6847712656239809973.post-20094685674248154352009-11-20T14:50:00.973+01:002009-11-20T14:50:00.973+01:00i just love this and wonderful to watch this video...i just love this and wonderful to watch this video, thanks for sharingMarrakech Riadhttp://www.marrakech-riad.co.uknoreply@blogger.com
