Unfortunately, for those of us riding to work in Canada at this time of year the scale doesn't really work since we pretty well never get out of Jens Factor 5 or Jens Factor HC. A temperature of 4C with no wind constitutes early summer here. Perhaps it could be seasonally adjusted? And points should be given for riding through ice and slush. In any event, I appear to have an impressive Jens Factor as my coldest ride this season was with a temperature of -22C and a sustained windspeed of 30 km/h.

We here in Queensland, Australia, don't even make it onto the scale. Not even in the deepest of our winter ...
I am about to leave for work and it is -10C, with the wind at 27 km/h, so I am already at Jens F5! I think I would rather be in Queensland...
Let's see... North Carolina. The only time I qualified to even measure myself by the "Jens Factor" was our epic ride past Grandfather Mountain during the Lost Boys Spring Training Camp. I figure with the combination of the cold and the gale force winds I might crack a Jens F1.
